Shining in Heaven....
It was 8 years ago today that I received a call from the University of Pennsylvania. The Transplant Coordinator said they had a kidney for me. I was packed and ready to go to San Diego to visit my niece. The plans changed, and instead of flying West, we drove South to Pennsylvania.
This journey hasn't been easy, but it has been well worth it.
Happy 8th Birthday, to my lovely Kidney Donor.
Please give someone a chance to live.
